Yaxha
Yaxha archaeological site is one of the breathtaking maya neighboring cities. You'll be able to scale the tallest temple (2-16 red hands)
where you'll look out a beautiful sunset landscape from the top over yaxha lagoon and the expansive nature reserve surrounding it.
Is thought Thought to be one of the largest of the ancient Maya cities, wander through the more than 500 structures, including palaces, temples and ball courts. Four of the temples have been partially restored, including Temple 216.
As Tikal, Yaxha is full of wildlife including turtles, crocodiles, monkeys, pumas, tapirs, deer and jaguars!
You may take a peaceful boat trip on Yaxha lagoon to visit small maya sites, surrounded by a tropical forest.
The TV reality show Survivor (Guatemala) was filmed on location here on 2005.
